Look in your manual it will tell you the other ports are for something else. So, what the heck? I have the same board so maybe I just don’t understand what you are trying to do. No joy — it just comes up with an error that says none of the drivers apply to any of the hardware.

Maybe this is a clue or at least tonight’s project. Man, I need some.
I am looking at it from the intel website. Code 12 on intel hd intergrated in a haswell core i7. At this point, it’s just like any other hard drive.

Just a matter of getting the Marvell drivers loaded and working. I have resolved this issue on my dxbx2. Not to be, though.
GG and FF Look they are for external sata. Hopefully I posted this in the right section! I’d loaded these manually with no luck.
One thing for sure — Intel didn’t make this easy. It’s mostly acting like Windows doesn’t see the secondary controller at all. At this point, I really think the trick is just aerial the drivers loaded and working.
This is my “main” computer, but I use it as a media server for my home theater.

Clicked on it, told it to reload controllre driver and pointed it at the i set in the downloaded Marvell drivers from Intel. This would give me a total of 6 SATA devices.
